Took a little bit of time, but I'm warming up to SMTIV:A's soundtrack. SMTIV has better battle themes overall in my opinion (also a better soundtrack cover).

There're some good ones in terrible games:

It looks like the musicians finally recovered from X/Y and learned how to make music again. I love this so much.

 

Just to add on to the above post, the music in Sun/Moon is straight out of Jet Set Radio:

 

Damn, this shit is hype as fuck, can't wait to listen to all of it.

 

Ok this is definitely my favorite battle theme among the SMTIV games. Too bad Odin said I'm not worthy to enter Valhalla

 

Replaying Chaos Theory and I just had to smile when this track came up.
