Back to our regular program!
Been listening to this piece of ambience over the past hour and a half.
Been enjoying Deathsmiles.
So after playing some Divinity OS 2, i come with some western RPG stuff.
Oh man, that Wasteland 2 one... speaking of OS 2, I love how the game in the character creation lets you pick up to four different variations of instrumental music. Here are a few more to add with WRPGs:
The Witcher Soundtrack - Peaceful Moments
System Shock Soundtrack - L07 - Energy S., Eng., Flight Deck
(if you listen carefully, you can hear the Head Like a Hole bass inspiration)
that system shock track is one totally rad MIDI. they did what they could given the technology lol. I should try it sometime
I'd highly recommend it. Also don't want to spoil too much of the fantastic MIDI tracks, but the Cyberspace one is a great listen too.
Speaking of Westerns (not RPGs though), I forgot how good the Outlaws soundtrack was until today. Sounds straight out of a classic Clint Eastwood film.
Idea Factory Edition
I was going to post a track I like from Trillion God of Destruction to mix it up a bit, but its missing from the OST (along with several other songs for some reason)
Dead rising 2
Dead rising 1
i thought i post my favourite songs from the series since im currently playing it.
Anyone else remember NOLF?
i wasnt expecting much based on the kinda junky cover art but these are pretty cool, especially that first one.
Yeah, I couldn't find other individual videos with satisfactory sound quality. The soundtrack was actually composed by Manabu Namiki who's also done work for Cave in the past. Interestingly, Battle Garegga is considered by many to be the originator of danmaku shmups and after its success, gave Cave enough confidence to go along with developing DoDonPachi.
Just your daily reminder that Hotline Miami's 1&2 soundtracks sound like adrenaline fueled sex.
I've been addicted to the Let's Tap OST for the past week or so. Let's Tap and Let's Tap - future tapping game (oh yeah!).
The Vib-Ribbon OST is infamous around here, but let's take a moment to appreciate it.
I will never understand how this game got lowish review scores.
Monolith Studios not only made some of the best FPS games ever made but they all had some sweet music to boot with (RIP in the sense that they'll make nothing but Batman:Shadow of Mordor sequels for the rest of their lives).
I personally enjoy music from Yoko Shimomura (Xenoblade, Mario&Luigi, Kingdom Hearts) and Nobuo Uematsu (Final Fantasy)
Spoiler: Final Battle - Banjo-Kazooie
Spoiler: Final Fantasy VI - Dancing Mad
Spoiler: Abe's Oddysee OST - Scrabania
Spoiler: Disco Train - Donkey Kong Country 2: Diddy's Kong-Quest
