Figure it would be a great idea to have 1 thread about sales/discounts for gaming in general to give a heads up when something can be purchased for cheaper. I don't know if one has been made already if so feel free to delete this one.

Anyways if anyone see a discount or a sale for games in general and game related hardware feel free to bump this thread to inform the rest.

GOG.com is currently having their big winter sales.

Recettear is a pretty good price, I have heard it's a good game so I'll pick it up. Also Victor vran is 50% off, it's a pretty good Diablo clone from what I have played, I would rate it above the Van Helsing games, which are also not bad, but nothing special.

Aksys is having their end of the year sale on their own website. A lot of their titles are going from $10 off to half price from what I saw.

Always worth to check is Steam CD Keys and Game Keys - Compare & Buy | Kinguin.net (p.c related)

Just a few weeks after Mad max came out they had a special to buy it for $18 (steam haven't even reach that price range yet)
Just cause 3 currently around $30 although I did heard some weird issue with the p.c version

    GOG.com Day 5

    Some good ones there.
Heard Banner Saga (SRPG) is good (dev by some ex Bioware developers)

Mark of the Ninja I have also heard good things about this one.

I lived in a small town and very rarely did we see an arcade machine actually show up that wasn't from the space invader's era.

One day though the deli got a NeoGeo machine, and I spent too much money playing Samurai Shodown II.

The system was insanely expensive, never knew anybody that had one. I was blown away when I first saw a cartridge for one.

Yeah it was a niche market for sure. Very expensive but the arcades did very good back then.

Here at the local airport we had a few arcades cabinets, 1 of them had 4 or 5 Neo Geo games.
Top Hunter was one of my favorites on it and World Heroes 2 Jet. (IIRC Top Hunter inspired Metal Slug series a few years after)

    Yeah... about those bundles.

Foxhack / Dave Silva on Twitter

It's basically roms repackage as if it were legit. Kinda like a company selling internet memes t-shirts.
