    Can the people who watched the video verify what kind of tone of voice she spoke with? Was it genuine, sarcastic? Ignoring the fact she is an actress, this could be a good indicator as to whether or not she was being serious, and whether this is another act of censorship on NoA's part to try and keep the controversy under wraps. Though I must admit, her comment on the NG article certainly sounds like damage control, so...

    I only listened to the specific part twice, but it seemed genuine. I think it's already a big warning sign that she was serious by the fact that it's now private. If she was being sarcastic, then the video would have likely not been set as private but now that it is, chances are fairly high that something is being hidden from the public.

    I certainly didn't detect any sarcasm. Almost (?) everything Brandon quoted in the article is from the first five minutes or so of the video, in which she explained her job as a voice actress on Fire Emblem in a straightforward manner.

    One thing Brandon did wrong was not reaching to her for comment before releasing the article. As much as I like Niche Gamer, he did fucked up on that part.

    I've watched the clip, and yup, that was 100% genuine. If she was being sarcastic, that means everything she said had to be sarcastic as well, but I highly doubt that. I've been told multiple times from other voice actors I've met in person that they're not told a lot of things about their characters, and this is another example of that. Although, I never heard of something quite this extreme.

    Does this character even have anything to do with pickles in the original? It almost seems like something the translation team pulled from their ass since they're terrible at their own jobs and apparently the mind set they've seem to originally have by your sources seems to make that accurate as hell.
    Even with that seal apparently being from the NES days, hearing about a lot of unlicensed games being made back then makes me wonder if there was ever any meaning of the seal in the first place.
